Got Questions? I’ve Got Answers
I work with entrepreneurs who are just starting out, established businesses that are growing, and mission-driven nonprofits. Regardless of the stage you may be in, we can talk to see how we could work together.
1
Who do you work with?
Do you work with clients outside Los Angeles?
2
Yes. My practice is fully virtual, so I can work with clients anywhere in California. Trademark registration is handled at the federal level, so I can help businesses outside California with trademarks as well.
Do you offer services in Spanish?
3
Yes. I’m fluent in Spanish and enjoy working directly with Spanish-speaking clients, from the first consultation through the final documents. Sí, con gusto le atiendo en español.
When should I talk to an attorney?
4
Earlier than most people think. It’s much easier, and usually less expensive, to set things up correctly than to fix them later. Good times to reach out include before you sign a contract, before you launch a business or brand name, when you bring on a partner or contractor, and when you start collecting customer data.
Consultations are 30 minute video calls where we talk through your situation, your goals, and how I can help. Consultations are free. If we decide to work together, I’ll send you a written agreement that explains the scope of the work and the fees before anything begins.

How does a consultation work?
How much do your services cost?
6
Many of my services, like business formation and trademark filings, are available for a flat fee, so you know the cost up front. Other matters are billed hourly or by project. Every engagement starts with a written fee agreement, so there are no surprises.
How long does trademark registration take?

The USPTO process often takes a year or more from filing to registration, and timelines vary. A clearance search before filing helps reduce the risk of delays or rejection. I handle the full process, including responding to any office actions.
