Meet Gissela

I’m an attorney who helps businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits

My work focuses on contracts, intellectual property, privacy, and technology. I do my best work when clients bring me in early, while there's still room to set things up the right way.

I’ve worked with established nonprofits, early-stage founders, small businesses, and tech-forward clients and regardless of what I am helping with, my goal is to provide clear, practical guidance that helps clients move forward with confidence.

Before launching my practice, I served as in-house counsel for a nonprofit organization. I also served as a student attorney with the BU/MIT Student Innovations Law Clinic, assisting clients with intellectual property, privacy, regulatory compliance, artificial intelligence matters, corporate law, and entity formation. Prior to law school, I consulted for a philanthropy platform and a policy think tank, where my work was published in the SF Chronicle, Forbes, the Sacramento Bee, and La Opinión.

I'm fluent in Spanish and enjoy being able to serve Spanish-speaking clients directly.

Outside of work, I enjoy running by the beach, spending time with friends and family, and trying to win a beginner’s tennis tournament.
